The survey of old staff

MIN Could you please make sure we send ALL of our old staff a christmas CARD in the next week or so . I have got a letter drafted and it needs to go soon !
SIRH Certainly sir I can try > we don't kep forwarding addresses for staff who leave?
MIN why not ?
SIRH sureley you don't want the PS to grow even bigger keeping track of files on subjects - esp those "no longer relevant" ?
MIN just do it please - all of them
BERN ( later ) what do you think he's on about humpy ?I notice hes got a little forwarding address and questionarre in the letter too . A blogger blog reference even too
SIRH the minister is indeed full of ideas . Far too many infact
Its important he doesn't get any more!We have enough trouble from those he creates from those we serve up to him .


SIRH ( to mIN )Have tracked down many of the names of former employees . Just one thing about the letter . Do you think it might be easier if you let us collate the responses, rather than handle them yourself . Save a lot of time minister .

MIN no, I can cope with that .
SIRH we will need to file them so they don't get lost .
MIN No sir h , you will not file them, otherwise they will get lost !
SIRH you are not worried about us vetting the info they provide.... I trust ?
MIN Yes sir humprey I am worried about that . Bbut Sirh it only table talk stuff - can't do any harm can it?
SIRH your decsion minister Oh by the way, I couldn't trace a few people- they appear to be |off the hook' as it were. OK?

Play up to the margins,the children the guilty the dying . or dare to set sail for the future ?

   Rowan     How can a party that allows a shallow inexperienced ideologue like Malcolm Turnbull become Prime Minister / I thought they were tougher than that  Mache  : It's what all parties have to do to appeal to the margins. Have a nice looking bloke who talks simplicities but knows nothing and can be pushed around when the election is over, when realism takes over again .   Rowan   So how did all these other wolves in sheep clothing get into the party?(Rebels who resisted the adoption of the religious Discrimination Bill 10th Feb 2022 )  Haven't the left got the numbers to do what they like ? Why do these people who think themselves progressive have to work amongst conservatives ?  Mache    yes they have numbers , but they don't have the intellectual grip.   They don't really know what they wanna do .
